Leave a Lasting Legacy

Leave a legacy to your chosen good cause and help us continue to save lives.

We wouldn’t be here without you!

For a lot of us, our will is a way of looking after our loved ones when we’re gone. Our aim is to create awareness of the importance of making a will and looking after friends and family first, then perhaps leaving a special gift to charity.

Leaving a gift will help our medical crew continue to be there for the people of the North West as legacies make up around a quarter of our total income. Our pilots fly our doctors and paramedics to serious incidents across the 5,500 square miles of the region, providing first class emergency medical care to people when they need it most.

By making a bequest to the North West Air Ambulance Charity, a legacy will be left in your name that will make a difference to someone else forever.

Thanks to our amazing supporters and public donations we are able to continue to provide our life-saving service.

How do I leave a legacy?

We recommend that you find a reputable solicitor who will be able to guide you through the process of making your will, giving you peace of mind that your loved ones are looked after in the future. We have a list of recommended solicitors who we would be happy to refer you to upon request.

There are a number of different ways to leave a gift in your will –

Make a pecuniary gift
By leaving a specific amount as a cash donation to our charity

Make a residual gift
After making a provision for your family and friends, you may consider leaving the remainder, or a proportion of your estate, to the North West Air Ambulance

Make a gift in kind
Bequeath a gift in property, shares, jewellery or any other items you may wish to leave to our charity
