The job:

This is a fantastic opportunity for a talented marketing professional looking for a role which is both varied and rewarding. The Marketing Co-ordinator will work closely with the Head of Marketing and Communications to help raise the profile of the Charity to all stakeholders, and successfully develop the North West Air Ambulance Charity brand. You will implement, manage and evaluate various marketing projects and campaigns, and develop exciting and engaging content for use across both on and offline channels.

 

The Ideal Candidate:

You will have relevant experience in an in-house marketing role, and have a real passion for marketing and communications. Highly organised, with excellent attention to detail, you will be able to juggle multiple projects and work to tight deadlines. You will also have top-notch copy-writing and proof-reading skills, and be confident in creating engaging content for use across all channels.  Experience of managing effective campaigns that deliver results is essential, as is a solid understanding of digital marketing.

Part time: 21 hours hours per week on a rota basis including weekends

Based in our Longridge store

The North West Air Ambulance Charity provides rapid pre-hospital care needed to make a life changing difference. We operate three helicopters, flying 365 days a year with doctors and paramedics on board providing emergency medical treatment when time is critical.

Our Charity Retail shops are vital to raising funds and helping increase public awareness of the Charity.

Main duties and responsibilities

  • To maximise sales and profits ensuring weekly targets are met
  • Maximise the shop’s opening hours and ensure the shop is open and managed by the shop team in the managers absence
  • Act as a role model for volunteers, ensuring quality of training and the Charity standards are met.
  • Provide a great customer service and donor experience, which attracts new supporters every day
  • Ensure high standards of cleanliness, display and merchandising are met
  • Ensure the Health and Safety of your colleagues and customers

Hours: 35 hours per week

Salary: £18,450 per annum

Location: Based in our Warehouse in Speke

Contract: Fixed Term, 12 months

The North West Air Ambulance Charity provides rapid pre-hospital care needed to make a life changing difference. We operate three helicopters, flying 365 days a year with doctors and paramedics on board providing emergency medical treatment when time is critical.

The Online Sales Assistant is responsible for selling donated and new stock online to maximise profit for the Charity. Organise products in the warehouse, photograph, list and accurately describe online to advertise and sell. Package and dispatch items to customers.

Main duties and responsibilities

  • Effectively process stock, ensuring that accurate records are maintained and any discrepancies are logged and managed.
  • Ensure sold products are posted out to customers in an efficient manner, in line with agreed protocols to maximise income and minimise stock holding for the Charity.
  • Research items online to ensure items are listed accurately, with the correct price, and associated search words.
  • Catalogue and accurately list products ensuring all details are accurately displayed

Retail Collection and Delivery Driver. Speke

Salary: £7,380 per annum

Working hours: 14 hours per week

Location: Based in Speke with extensive travel across the North West

The North West Air Ambulance Charity provides rapid pre-hospital care needed to make a life changing difference. We operate three helicopters, flying 365 days a year with doctors and paramedics on board providing emergency medical treatment when time is critical.

Our drivers support our Retail stores by ensuring timely delivery and collection of goods to and from customer and providing exceptional customer service to our supporters.

Main duties and responsibilities

  • To work to agreed van operation, organize and plan routes with a good knowledge of the North West
  • Ensure regular delivery of donated stock to shop managers including rotated stock
  • To collect and deliver furniture donations as required
  • To work well alone using initiative and also work well as part of a team
