Events Coordinator, Knowsley

Hours: Part time, 21 hours per week

The job:

The role will be responsible for leading the provision of excellent supporter care to participants in charity fundraising events, identifying events for supporters and stewardship planning, material production, process development and some evaluation as well as developing and delivering excellent communications both externally and internally using a variety of communication channels.

The Ideal Candidate:

You will have the skills to research and identify suitable fundraising events that meet NWAA criteria for promoting as opportunities for supporters to participate and raise funds to support our cause, including runs, overseas challenges and treks. You will also work closely with the Marketing and Communications team as well as the Head of Community, Corporate and Events to produce effective marketing and advertising materials that promote the brand and attract high levels of participation in selected events.

You will have proven experience of project planning and implementation as well as excellent communication skills, across a range of platforms.

The job:

This is a fantastic opportunity for a talented Lottery / marketing professional looking for a role which is vital to NWAA’s Lottery, which raises in excess of £4m per year net.

The post holder will be joining the team at an exciting time of growth and will be responsible for sustaining and developing a varied Lottery programme of door-to-door, telephone and website player recruitment to ensure all activity is effective, efficient and compliant with relevant legislation. The role will have responsibility for maintaining target levels of recruitment, retention and engagement and maximising ROI across our Lottery income stream.

The Lottery Promotions Officer will work closely with the Head of Marketing and Communications to help raise the profile of the Charity and the Lottery and successfully develop the North West Air Ambulance Charity brand.

The Ideal Candidate:

You will have relevant experience in a Lottery fundraising environment or growing business from a customer base with excellent account management skills. You will be able to analyse data to influence future strategy. Excellent organisational skills are essential to manage a complex workload and meet deadlines as well as some creativity when planning campaigns.
