Setting up a fundraising group is a fantastic way to support your North West Air Ambulance Charity whilst making new friends in your local community – all whilst having fun!
A fundraising group works together to raise money and help raise awareness in their local area. From running fun and fabulous events, to organising collections, or representing the charity at local events, local fundraising groups can make a huge difference to the charity and ultimately help it continue to make a life-saving difference to the people of the North West.
Your group can start as just a few friends, family members or like-minded people planning just a few events or activities, but as you add new members and your group grows, you will be amazed at what you can achieve.
How we’ll support you
Our fundraising team are on hand to support your group every step of the way. You will be introduced to your dedicated fundraiser who will be meet with you and your group and are always at the end of the phone to:
Guide you through setting up your fundraising group
Present information on the work of the North West Air Ambulance Charity and how funds raised can make a life-saving difference
Promote your group to encourage new members
Give advice on how to organise and run fundraising activites
Provide guidance to ensure your activities are safe and legal
Supply you with materials to help you fundraise and promote your group and its fundraising efforts
